ingredients:

Classic Chicken Noodle Soup
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 cup of onion
  • 1/2 cup of celery
  • 4 cans of broth
  • 1 cup veggie broth
  • 3 cups chopped chicken
  • 1 cup chopped potato [opt]
  • 1 1/2 cups of egg noddle
  • 1/2 tsp dried basil
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano 
  • 1 bay leaf
  • salt and pepper

How to cook Classic Chicken Noodle Soup

  1. 1.  Saute chopped onions and vegetables in butter until soft and tender. 
  2. 2. Add seasoning to vegetables and stir for about a minute.
  3. 3.  Add cooked chopped or shredded chicken. 
  4. 4. Add all the broth and potatoes. 
  5. 5. Let it simmer for at least thirty minutes so all the flavors can come together. 
  6. 6. Add egg noddles and cook according to the time on the box.

ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 cup of onion
  • 1/2 cup of celery
  • 4 cans of broth
  • 1 cup veggie broth
  • 3 cups chopped chicken
  • 1 cup chopped potato [opt]
  • 1 1/2 cups of egg noddle
  • 1/2 tsp dried basil
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 bay leaf
  • salt and pepper

How to cook Instant Pot Chicken Noodle Soup

  1. 1. Set the Instant Pot SAUTE button.  Saute the vegetables in butter until tender. 
  2. 2. Add cooked chopped or shredded chicken. 
  3. 3. Add seasonings and saute for about a minute. 
  4. 4. Add broth and potatoes.  
  5. 5. Manually set Instant Pot for 10 minutes.
  6. 6. Remove bay leaf.
  7. 7. Set Instant Pot to Saute and add noodles
  8. 8. Once the broth begins to boil, cook for about 6 minutes or until the noodles are tender stirring occasionally.
