So, yes I got rained on everywhere I went. I did a teeny tiny bit of shopping and stink number two was the reality of sales tax. In Germany the sales tax is included in the price so you never really think about the fact that you are paying 19% for tax [zionks!]. Plus we mostly shop on base and it's all tax free. The price you see is the price you get people.
Okay, so the reality of sales tax isn't such a stinker but the stinkiest stink today was my car battery dying. I went to pick up my little sister and drop her and her friends to Starbucks to study. She was nice enough to buy me a coffee [a nice yummy caramel latte], I got back in my car and it wouldn't start. All I could think was that STINKS! Turns out my battery was dead. My brother came to my rescue but he had no cables so we had to buy some then stand in the wonderful rain and jump my car. Now it works fine so yeay.
The biggest reason it stinks is because all that time wasted kept me from doing any work today! Oh my gosh people, The Threadery is in two weeks and I am so behind. The stress of this event is reminding me why I don't like selling stuff I make in the first place....
And speaking of stuff I am selling, here are those passport covers I have finished.
Some repeat prints.
And two new straps.
And something to look forward to, my fresh stack of untouched fabric waiting to be transformed into something beautiful! Can you see the possibilities?! So exciting.
I guess I should have known it would be one of those days when this kept happening. It took me twice as long to take pictures as it usually does. I can't really blame those cute little curious hands.
So it was just one of those days. It wasn't a bad day, just an off day. I actually spent a lot of good quality time with my family. I am hoping tomorrow will be a brighter and much more productive day.
Love the boots. The rain gave you an opportunity to wear your new boots!!!! Have a great day.
